Hello,
I'm a 3D Artist and Generalist with over 25 years of experience in the animation and VFX industry. My passion for computer graphics began back in 1982, when I first watched Tron. I was fascinated and knew right then that I wanted to create that kind of stuff when I grew up.
Back then in Spain, there were no 3D academies or structured paths into the industry, so I taught myself. I started out freelancing, creating small animations, flying logos, and 2D vector work using tools like 3ds Max, After Effects, and Photoshop. Over time, I worked for different advertising companies and transitioned into television animation, where I worked across nearly every stage of the 3D production pipeline, from modeling and look development to animation, lighting, and compositing.
As my career evolved, I dove deeper into lighting and compositing, taking on supervision roles in both areas. I’ve had the chance to contribute to various feature films, including Dogman, Spirit Untamed, How to Train Your Dragon: Homecoming, The Twits, and many more. Each project has helped me grow, not only in technical ability but also in understanding how to support a team and bring a director’s vision to life.
Although I find lighting and compositing incredibly rewarding, I still find asset creation, such as characters, hard-surface vehicles, and props absolutely fascinating. As a 3D Generalist, I’m committed to continually learning and improving across all aspects of the craft.
